DHS has made many cosmetic upgrades to the school this year, but one is causing a lot of noise. Literally. The new hand dryers in the bathrooms officially blow louder than the human threshold of pain. There have been four reported cases of students completely losing their hearing due to these new hand dryers. There are probably even more cases, but no one can hear them. Similarly, one student’s hand was simply blown away by the awesome power of the new hand dryers. When asked if they would do anything to address the issue, school board representative Audi Torry said, “Well, at least it’s energy efficient.”
